Google Plus Widget

by Ramon Williamson

Quick Google+ tip today.

I just found a great Google+ Widget to add to your blog.

Here’s how to set it up:

OPEN a new web browser or tab.  TYPE www.WidgetsPlus.com into the address bar and CLICK “Enter.”

Then LOOK FOR and CLICK on the blue “Get Widget” button.

This will reveal the settings area.

The primary thing that must be added in this section is your Google+ ID.

Your ID are the numbers in your Google+ URL.

For example, here’s my Google+ URL, the ID are the numbers in bold:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/110954274896930994013/posts

To find your ID, visit your Google+ page.

Then copy and paste the numbers you see in the address bar of your browser into the box in the settings area of the Widgets Plus web page next to the words “Google+ ID.”

Then, LOOK FOR and CLICK the orange “Get Code” button on the page.

This will reveal a section on the page that contains the code to add to your site.

Copy and paste the code into your website where you want it to appear.

In WordPress, you can add this code in the side widget by pasting the code into the “text” widget.
